2007 was a special year for Lorna Whiston in that we organized our first ever International Conference in partnership with IATEFL (International Association of Teaching English as a Foreign Language). The conference was held on Saturday 24th November at the Tanglin Club, and we had a grand total of 176 delegates attend. The speakers, who are renowned English Language Teaching Specialists from all over the world, delivered a series of interesting talks and workshops on the theme of Literacy in the Language Classroom. This conference was just one of our many initiatives to share professional knowledge and expertise in the field of English Language teaching.
