Drama Techniques for the English Language Classroom
(This course comprises eight 3 hour sessions)

The aim of this course is to demonstrate how the use of drama can enhance the skills of Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing through practical classroom-based activities. It includes sessions on planning cohesive lessons and units of work around a specific theme or topic, and shows teachers how to write their own lesson plans and develop their own drama materials and activities for their particular school context. This course also incorporates ideas on how performance in both the classroom, and on a whole school scale, can be implemented.
