I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and to say how happy I am to be working at a Lorna Whiston centres.

I completed a four years Bachelor of Education degree course at Plymouth University in 1997, where my main subjects were Design and Technology and English language.

I have been working with children since I was fourteen years of age and my experiences range from teaching sports to working in a camp in the USA. Just before coming to Singapore I completed a two year contract working in an International School in Sharjah, U.A.E., an experience which I found very rewarding. The school catered for over sixty different nationalities and its main emphasis was the teaching and implementation of the English language.

Before arriving in Singapore I heard many positive comments about the country and its people - now I am here, I realise that those comments were totally understated! What a great place! I am already having a wonderful time experiencing the fascinating culture of this land and teaching English to Asian students.
