Headteacher of Parkway and SAFRA Toa Payoh
Bachelor of Arts, St. Luke's College, Exeter University, UK
graduated
from St. Luke's College, Exeter University, England in 1993 with
a Bachelor of Arts in Art with Education, with a subsidiary subject
in Physical Education.
I had an exciting 6 years teaching in a Junior School in Surrey,
England, where I co-ordinated Physical Education and Mathematics and
enjoyed running extra-curricular sports clubs including cricket, rugby,
netball, athletics and swimming.
I have a very keen interest in being active myself and my enjoyment
of squash, running, wake-boarding and touch rugby are very much part
of my life here - the fabulous weather and outdoors lifestyle making
this possible.
I have been working for Lorna Whiston Study Centres for four
and a half years. I learnt so much as a class teacher in my first three
years and was very excited after this time, to have the opportunity
to become Headteacher of a centre.
I have been the Headteacher of Parkway Parade since January 2002
and thoroughly enjoy working with a sociable and dedicated team of
teachers. I love meeting the parents and still can't wait to get into
the classroom with the students! Helping to develop an up-to-date and
exciting curriculum and being involved in the marketing and development
of the company thoroughly motivate me.
