Classrooms
We challenge you to try and find better classrooms in Singapore!
All our classrooms are bright, modern and especially designed to be stimulating. In addition we have a well-stocked library of books from UK, New Zealand, USA, Canada and Australia.
You also don't have to worry about large
class size either. Our classes never have more than 20 students. We
keep our classes small
so that you get close individual support
from the teacher.
Internet Access
Internet access is offered the School
for educational purposes. The School
does everything within its control to
prevent the access of controversial or
inappropriate material and is therefore
not liable or responsible for any sites
or information the student accesses,
acquires or transmits via the Centre's computer network and/or Internet
connection. Students are not allowed
to install any software onto the School's
computers.
Library
You are encouraged to borrow books from our extensive library during your course of study. Students may borrow up to four books a week. Please remember to return all books before you leave. Lost books will be charged at cost.
Photocopying
Due to the large number of students and staff in the EAL Department, you will be given limited use of the school photocopier. If you wish copies to be made, please give them to one of our administration staff before 13.30hrs (Monday - Friday only) and they will aim to get your copies back to you by the end of that day.
During your course of study, you may photocopy on A4 size at the cost of S$0.45 per sheet.
All copying, self-service and serviced, must fall within copyright regulations. Guidelines for copyright are posted on the wall above all our photocopiers.
Faxes
Faxes may be sent from the school office
for a small charge. The fax number for
receiving faxes is (65) 6355 0978.
Please ask one of the admin officers
if you wish to send a fax, as a small
fee will be charged.
Telephones
There are coin-operated telephones in each of our schools.
If anyone needs to contact you urgently
during your stay, they can either
leave a message with one of Student
Liaison Offiicer at (65) 6354 4920
or with Mr Scott Dooley, Head of
EAL at (65) 6258 1607.
