REFUND POLICY

Withdrawal for Cause: the Student shall be entitled to immediately withdraw from the Course by giving written notice to the PEO of his/her intention to do so under the following circumstances:
- the PEO fails, for any reason, to commence the Course on the Commencement Date;
- the PEO fails, for any reason, to complete the Course by the Completion Date;
- the PEO terminates the Course for any reason prior to the completion of the Course; or
- the PEO is in material breach of its obligations under this Agreement.

Refunds for Withdrawal for Cause: The PEO shall, as soon as practicable after receiving the Student’s notice of withdrawal under Clause 2.1 (and in any event no more than fourteen (14) days after receiving such notice) refund to the Student:
- the entire amount of the Tuition Fees;
- the Non-Tuition Fees and paid Additional Fees

Refunds for Rejection of Student’s Pass: Subject to the above, in instances where the Student’s Pass application has been rejected by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority, the entire amount of the Tuition Fees, Course Materials Fees and paid Additional Fees will be refunded. The Student Pass Processing Fee, Enrolment Fee and Administration Fee will not be refunded.

Withdrawal Without Cause and Refunds: Where the Student withdraws from the Course for any reason other than those set out above, the PEO shall, as soon as practicable after receiving the Student’s written notice of withdrawal (and in any event no more than fourteen (14) working days after receiving such notice) refund to the Student the following sums (less any applicable bank administrative charges (Escrow) properly paid/payable under Clause 3):

- The Student is required to attend at least 90% of the Course in any calendar month to be eligible for a certificate confirming that the Student has taken the Course. If the Student fails to meet the required 90% attendance record, the Student has the option of either re-taking the Course or forgoing the certificate of course attendance, in which event the Student shall not be entitled to claim a refund of the Course fees.
- If the Student fails to attend classes for a continuous period of seven (7) days or more without any valid reason, the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) will be informed.
- In both situations under Clauses 2.3A and 2.3B, the Student’s Pass may be cancelled or no further renewal granted to the applicant by ICA in which event, the Student shall not be entitled to any refund on the Course fees.

Deemed Withdrawal: A Student who transfers from the Course to another course with the PEO shall be deemed to have withdrawn from the Course and the provisions above shall apply save as otherwise agreed between the PEO and the Student. Any transfer has to be with the written permission and approval of the PEO and in such cases, fees will be adjusted in accordance with the PEO’s prevailing fee structure.
